The culture of the Rio Grande Valley is one of family, faith and tradition--the core principles of the Republican Party. But for the longest time, the voters have not voted that way. This is starting to change.
One of the primary responsibilities of any County Chair is to grow the party. In an environment of skyrocketing inflation, a sluggish economy, rampant crime and uncertainty about the future, the people are looking for solutions. The Republican party is the answer.
In Hidalgo County, only 34% of registered voters cast their ballots in the last election. This means that almost 276,000 registered voters did not vote! I will lead the effort to knock on every door and motivate every registered Republican to ensure that the voice of the people will be heard.
